Dear Fellow Golfer,
We are pleased to announce the dates and schedule of events for the 2023 edition of the Annual Brattleboro Country Club Invitational Tournament
and are honored to invite you to participate.

Included in this packet you will find General Information about the Tournament, a Tournament Program detailing the scheduled events for the tournament’s duration, and an Entry Form which will be required to be completed in full and submitted by the stated deadline.

The dates of the tournament itself will be August 18, 19, and 20, 2023 with an included Practice Round available to all participating players on Thursday, August 17th.

This year, the competition format will be 18-hole matches for all flights; the Tournament Program below provides details on the timing.

The field will be limited to 64 teams, so fully completed applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
Fully completed applications that do not make it into the field will be held on a waiting list in the event of any withdrawals from the field.

The entry fee for this year’s tournament will be $450 per team and will include four (4) rounds of golf (including the Practice Round), carts, three (3) meals, tee gift, and prizes.

General Information
Entry forms will not be considered unless all information requested is provided.
Completed forms must reach the BCC Pro Shop by Monday, August 14th, 2023.

Entrance fee is $450.00 per team.

In the case of withdrawals, invitations will be extended to the next applicant on the waiting list (in order from when applications were received) until the field is full. Please refer to the Withdrawal Schedule in the Tournament Program for withdrawal timetables relating to reimbursement of entry fees.

If any player or team committed to the field cannot complete a tournament match or matches, those matches will be forfeited.
All accepted entries will be seeded on the basis of the combined handicaps of the two team members.
In this manner, all teams accepted into the tournament will be seeded in one of 8 flights, Championship Flight, then 1st Flight – 7th Flight.

Players must present official club handicap information to enable proper seeding of teams and fair competition. If you cannot produce proper handicap information, the Professional Staff will assign you a handicap that protects the field.

If the difference between the two team members’ handicaps is greater than 10 strokes, the higher handicap will be
adjusted to 10 shots higher than his partner.

All flights will use 80% of adjusted handicaps. Championship Flight will play from the Black Tees.
Flights 1-5 will play from the White Tees.
Flights for Gold Tees will be made for players wishing to play GOLD TEES!!!!!

All flights will play 18-hole matches: seedings and tee times will be provided on August 16th, once the field is finalized.
Losing teams in the consolation brackets and losers of 2nd round matches in the Championship bracket of each flight (all of Saturday’s matches) will play in an 18-hole stroke play event on Sunday, the 20th – Gross and Net prizes will be awarded.

Prizes in the form of tournament certificates will be awarded to the champion and runner-up and consolation bracket champion & runner-up in each flight. Awards may be redeemed at the conclusion of the tournament or at any time prior to November 30, 2023
– unused tournament credits will expire after this date.

Tournament Committee reserves the right to modify tournament plans, including shortening of matches
(if weather conditions require) and/or adjusting any player’s handicap.
