Women’s Golf Association

The Brattleboro Country Club has a vibrant and active Women’s Golf Association whose goal is “fun for women golfers of all levels of expertise”. Historically, we have a Spring organizational meeting and a Fall wrap-up meeting. Women’s Golf Activities at BCC
Wednesday Twilight League is run by the Association in coordination with the Pro Shop from Mid-May to the end of August. Golfers of all abilities are welcome. Teams are organized weekly by handicap (or estimated if you don’t have one) to achieve a balanced team.  Each team is led by an experienced golfer as its captain.

Full season commitment is not necessary, just sign up on the weeks you are able to play. You do not have to be a member of the BCC to play in our League. Non club members pay green fees at the Pro Shop. Golfers do need to be a member of the Women’s Association to play on the League. Women are invited to try the League twice before paying the Association dues of $20.

The League fee is an additional $25 for the season, payable by the first week of play (regardless of how many weeks you play). Points are accumulated over the season and at the Fall Meeting, all League fees are then awarded as Pro Shop credit to the top scorers.

Women’s Invitational Tournament is held on the last Saturday of July. This annual event is a fun competition, which for many years also served as a fundraiser for area cancer programs. It is a two-woman, best ball format with prizes are awarded for Gross and Net scores.
Entry fee of $180 ($90 per person) include cart, green fees, lunch, and prizes.
To date, the Invitational Tournament has raised over $105,000 in support of Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, Grace Cottage Hospital, and a few other smaller organizations!

The 2021 Invitational will be held on July 31. Entry Forms ~LINK~ must be received by July 24.
